O’Hara Lindsay Government Relations is proud to announce the promotions of Don Wesely to Senior Vice President and Blair MacDonald and Randi Scott to Vice Presidents.

Don Wesely served 20 years in the Nebraska Legislature. He was the Chair of the Health and Human Services Committee for 14 years. Don also chaired the Rules, Retirement, and Economic Development Committees. He served on Banking, Commerce & Insurance, Transportation, Public Works, and Business & Labor Committees. He was elected Mayor of Lincoln in 1999 and served until 2003. In 2008, Don joined O’Hara Lindsay Government Relations.

Blair MacDonald joined O’Hara Lindsay in 2015 as the Director of Client Relations and was promoted to lobbyist in 2018. Before joining the firm, Blair worked on several political campaigns, as well as working as the campaign coordinator at the Archdiocese of Omaha, for the nonprofit’s successful $52 million “Ignite the Faith” capital campaign. Originally from Fremont, Nebraska, Blair attended Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She graduated cum laude with her B.A. in Political Science, minoring in Italian language in 2012. Blair’s campaign background and development experience has been a great complement to O’Hara Lindsay’s strategic work and clientele.

Randi Scott joined the firm in 2018 after working as a legislative aide to former State Senator Brett Lindstrom. She graduated from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 2010 after completing a master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2007 and a bachelor’s degree from Peru State College in 2002. Scott has run congressional, legislative and city council campaigns.  She works with a wide range of clients from the energy industry to financial institutions, and advises professional associations and state agencies on complex public policy matters.

Founded in 1978, O’Hara Lindsay Government Relations is one of Nebraska’s oldest and largest government relations firms and has earned a reputation for effectively advocating for its clients. The firm is committed to a high level of client services and adherence to ethical principles.
